Each year, thousands of women become members of Pi Beta Phi, joining one of our more than 130 chapters across North America. Pi Phi's collegiate chapters are divided into nine regions. Read below to learn more about Indiana Epsilon.As a chapter, we strive to create an environment that is passionate about literacy and sisterhood, and is welcoming to all women. Our efforts toward promoting literacy include annual events like Lollipops for Literacy, a tabling event where we bring the DePauw community together to learn about Read>Lead>Achieve, and Layups for Literacy, a basketball tournament held to raise money for our cause. Throughout the year, members also give their time to promote literacy in local schools. We believe directly working with children on their reading skills is one of the best ways to make literacy more accessible. We are currently working on some new events to get others involved in Read>Lead>Achieve as well as creating a free library outside of our home.
